The Junior Explorer Post program is going live!

Starting soon, the Pasco Sheriff's Office Explorer Post will be opening up to MIDDLE SCHOOL aged Explorers. Requirements are very much the same, but now open to anyone actively enrolled in a Pasco County middle school or home school between 11 and 14 years old.

The Law Enforcement Exploring Program for the Pasco Sheriff’s Office was started with the intention of providing the youth of our communities the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement and develop a more positive relationship between youth and law enforcement officers.

Our purpose is to provide a well-rounded program to our participants that cover the major areas of law enforcement. In so doing we intend to build character, determination and life skills that will last a lifetime. In addition, we will provide each explorer the tools he/she needs in order to make a decision about a career in law enforcement. Junior Explorers will be provided with a Junior Explorer T-Shirt and any gear necessary to complete training.

The Explorers pride themselves being courteous, dependable and professional in everything that we do. If you are interested in joining, make an appointment to speak with your School Resource Officer TODAY!

Meetings will be held every Thursday from 6PM - 8PM. They will have the same subjects for training as Explorer Post 916, but the period of instruction and scenarios will be less intense.
