Corporal Scott is currentely serving as a Senior Advisor to the Post 916 Explorers. He worked as a patrol deputy in District 2 since 2017. Corporal Scott also served 3 years as an officer for the Murfreesboro Police Department in TN. Corporal Scott retired in 2015 as a Major in the United States Marine Corps where he served in numerous advising positions such as a foreign military advisor, foreign police advisor, and active reservist Marine advisor.

Sgt Dustin Roy

Dustin began his law enforcement career in July 1997 when he join the Pasco Sheriff's team as Explorer of Post 916. He remained an Explorer until September 2003 when he retired from the program as an Explorer Major to become a certified law enforcement deputy with the sheriff's office.

In 2005, Dustin was promoted to Corporal and Senior Advisor of Post 916. As the Senior Advisor, Dustin led the Explorer Program to 3 top three finishes at the Florida Association of Police Explorer State Competition and took the Post to their first ever national competition in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He also supervised the creation of the Explorer Field Training Program and the modernization of Explorer program to include new uniforms, radios, and training equipment.

In 2008 Dustin was selected to lead one of the newly formed burglary suppression squads, (now known as STAR) which was responsible for identifying criminal networks and groups and formulating a targeted response to address and reduce criminal activity within the county. Dustin served in this capacity until being promoted to Detective in our Property crimes and later in our Major Crimes squads.

in 2012, Dustin was promoted to Sergeant where he later supervised deputies/detectives in various units throughout the agency to include our Active Crime Enforcement (ACE), Patrol Field Training Squad, Training Section Supervisor, and now as the School Resource Officer Sergeant for District III.

Sgt. Roy is a graduate of Land O' Lakes High School and attended Pasco-Hernando State College and St. Leo University.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his friends/family, watching hockey and traveling.
